Handling Information
■ Precautions when choosing shoesGeneral walking shoes are designed to allow safe and comfortable walking in corridors, buildings, and vehicles. Please choose shoes that suit your purpose for rainy or snowy days, sports, etc. When choosing shoes, be sure to be aware of your own size and foot characteristics, try them on, and purchase shoes that are comfortable and not too tight. Wearing shoes that do not fit your feet can be harmful to your health.
■ Precautions when wearing shoes: To extend the life of the product, please rest your shoes at least once every three days. When putting on your shoes, use a shoehorn and tie the laces securely. Do not crush your heels when putting on your shoes. Be careful when walking on slippery or stumbling areas. If you experience itching or a rash due to sweating, discontinue use immediately.
■ About natural leather Our products use natural leather, with the exception of some fabrics and synthetic leather. Due to the nature of the material, some discoloration, scratches, and color spots are unavoidable for natural leather. Depending on the type of leather, the surface finish may not be uniform and the texture may vary from item to item. In addition, there are restrictions on the dyes that can be used to protect the environment and the health of workers, and with current dyeing technology, the color may fade due to moisture, humidity, and friction. In particular, when wet from rain, it is easy for the leather to absorb moisture and oil from sweat, which can cause stains and fading.
■ Regarding shoelace length: The shoelaces we use are processed using "woven cord" made from woven fibers such as cotton. As "woven cord" has a large range of elasticity, a certain tension is applied when setting the length during processing. As a result, there may be differences in length between the left and right sides depending on the degree of shrinkage after processing. This difference in length is unavoidable due to the characteristics of "woven cord." Therefore, we allow a difference of up to 5% of the total length for the left and right lengths of shoelaces. (For example, if the specified length is 100 cm, a difference of up to 5 cm is considered to be acceptable.)
■ About rubber soles and crepe soles The rubber soles and crepe soles we use have excellent elasticity and slip resistance, but they are slippery on wet surfaces (especially manholes, tiles, and iron plates), frozen surfaces, and snowy surfaces, so please be careful when walking. In addition, if they come into contact with volatile substances or oily solvents, their physical properties will change and they will deform or change (dissolve). Please note that once they have changed, they will not return to their original state. This phenomenon cannot be avoided due to the characteristics of rubber, so please be careful when handling and storing them. White rubber may turn yellow if exposed to sunlight or lighting for a long time. Depending on the storage conditions (high temperature, high humidity, exposure to light), the rubber sole itself or the adhesive part may change over time and break (crack, peel off, harden) regardless of how often it is used after a certain period of time.
